Legion 40K Slow Grow
This will be a narrative style slow grow aimed at encouraging club members to build and paint new 40k armies (or a back log of old miniatures) and have some fun getting used to the new 8th edition 40k rules.
As we are all familiar with war games and toy soldiers we will use the matched play points system to select armies. The aim of this is to keep it fair and balanced and give people targets to aim for with painting.
Each round will have a different mission, or missions, which will be based on which faction had the most wins in the previous round. This will not impact army selection or anything major, although it will drive the narrative and impact who is defender or attacker in some missions.
You can play as many games as you want each round. However, to encourage everyone to play their games at ManDay any games played at the club on ManDay for that round will be worth 5x for your faction as far as the narrative progression is concerned. Eg Chaos play 3 games during the month and win all 3 but do not play a game on ManDay the Chaos faction will count as 3 wins for the round. Whereas only one game happens on ManDay and Imperials win they have a total of 5 wins for the round. In this example the Imperial faction would win the round 5-3 and have they narrative reflect that.
Remember the number one rule here is to have fun and grow your 40k.
